පසුගිය 13 වෙනි දා අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලය වෙත යොමු කළ අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩල සංදේශයන් දෙකට ඵලදායී විසඳුමක් ලැබී නොමැති බවයි විශ්වවිද්‍යාල වෘත්තීය සමිති ඒකාබද්ධ කමිටුවේ සමසභාපති ධම්මික එස්. ප්‍රියන්ත මහතා පැවසුවේ.
ඒ අනුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාල අනධ්‍යන සේවක වැඩවර්ජනය අද 14 වැනි දිනටත් ක්‍රියාත්මකවේ.
අනධ්‍යන සේවකයින්ගේ වැටුප 15% කින් කප්පාදු කිරීමත්, අනධ්‍යන සේවකයින්ගේ මාසික හිලවු දීමනාව වැඩි නොකිරීමටත් විරෝධය පළ කරමින් ඔවුන් මෙම වැඩවර්ජනය ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.
