Sri Lanka Police are asking public assistance in apprehending a female suspect wanted in connection with a financial fraud probe.
The Police Media Division issued a statement informing the public that the suspect in question is wanted in connection with an illicit property acquisition carried out using fake documents for a property valued at Rs. 150 million.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is investigating a complaint filed against the suspect. The investigation discovered that the woman had signed a fraudulent deed while impersonating another person.
