12-year-old boy dies after falling from apartment building in Colombo

A 12-year-old boy has died after falling from an apartment building in the Colombo 09 area.

The deceased has been identified as a 12-year-old resident of Colombo 09, police said.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the child had been at the rooftop swimming pool area of the 14-storey apartment building with several other children, when he had fallen from the building.

The Maradana Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
