420kg of suspected ‘ICE’ seized from container at Colombo Port

Police have recovered 420 kilograms of suspected crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “ICE,” from a container at the Colombo Port.

Police said a businessman from Dematagoda has also been arrested in connection with the major drug seizure.

Further investigations are underway to determine the origin of the consignment and identify others who may have been involved in the attempted trafficking of the suspected narcotics.
