South Africa wins the U20 Rugby World Championship after 13 years.

At the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship, South Africa defeated New Zealand 23-15 to become tournament champions for the first time since 2012.

This victory marks the second World Championship title obtained by the Junior Springboks team.

At the end of the first half, the South African team led 13-5, and at the end of the game, the scoreboard read 23-15, giving the South African team a historic win after 13 years.
