Crew of derailed Sagarika express taken off duty

The railway department decided not to assign duties to the staff who worked on the Sagarika Express which recently derailed.

According to the department, this measure applies to the driver, guard, assistant driver, and sub-guard of the train.

This decision was taken as investigations into the incident are currently underway. The Sagarika Express derailed on the 24th.
