
Currently, gas stocks in the Maldives’ Floating Storage are sufficient for the entire month of April, and all required stocks have been successfully received.
A vessel carrying 32,400 metric tons of gas arrived at the Maldives’ Floating Storage on 23 March, and another vessel carrying 20,000 metric tons reached the same location on 30 March.
The full 38,000 metric tons of gas ordered for March has been received, and supply plans have been successfully implemented.
In addition, from the 38,000 metric tons ordered for the month of April, the first shipment of 7,000 metric tons had already arrived in the country by the end of March.
As of now, the full gas stock required for the month of April is available in the Maldives’ Floating Storage, making it possible to provide an uninterrupted supply across the island.
Successful planning is also underway regarding the vessels scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks:
•The vessel Luigi Galvani (20,000 metric tons) is scheduled to arrive on 25 April •The vessel Freycinet (20,000 metric tons) has already departed from South America and is expected to arrive during the first week of May According to these plans, it can be confirmed that the stocks required to maintain an uninterrupted gas supply for the month of May are also on their way to the Maldives’ Floating Storage, ensuring continued supply without any disruption.
