(Colombo-Sri Lanka) Five members of major criminal gangs and a woman from Sri Lanka have been arrested by Indonesian security forces in Indonesia.
According to the police, those arrested include gang members known by the aliases Kehelbadadara Padme, Commando Salintha, Panadura Nilanga, Backhoe Saman, and Thambili Lahiru.
Additionally, Backhoe Saman's wife and their three-year-old child were also among those arrested.
Police spokesman and Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wuttler stated that the arrests were made during a joint operation conducted by a special team from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Jakarta Police. (NewsCenter)
