The body of former SriLankan Airlines Chief Executive Officer Kapila Chandrasena has been placed at a private funeral parlour in Borella.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was among those who paid their final respects to the late Chandrasena this morning (10), along with several others.
Speaking to the media during the visit, Rajapaksa also commented on a recent notice issued to him to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
When asked whether he would appear before CIABOC, Rajapaksa said, “Yes, I will go. We must go, right?”
The final rites of Kapila Chandrasena are scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. today at the Borella Public Cemetery.
