Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has posted an "X" note regarding a statement made by a social media activist named Sudatta Thilakasiri, before the arrest of a former president took place.

In the post, the Opposition Leader stated that such statements cannot be coincidental and that such incidents could be a planned act.

Furthermore, the Opposition Leader's X post stated that he strongly condemns the turning of something as sacred as law and order into a cheap, theatrical performance.
