
COLOMBO, SRI LANKA — Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Selection Committee has finalized and announced the squads set to tour Pakistan, commencing with their departure on November 8, 2025.
The tour is scheduled to feature a bilateral One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan, followed by a T20I Tri-Series that also includes Zimbabwe. Charith Asalanka has been named captain for both the ODI and T20I squads.
Charith Asalanka (Captain) will lead the 50-over side. The squad features a blend of experienced players and emerging talent:
Note on ODIs: Dilshan Madushanka was originally selected but will not travel due to a knee injury. Eshan Malinga has been named as his replacement.
The T20I squad, which will compete in the tri-series, sees Dasun Shanaka serve as Vice-Captain. The squad includes aggressive hitters like Kusal Perera and Bhanuka Rajapaksa:
Note on T20Is: Matheesha Pathirana was included in the T20I squad but has been withdrawn due to an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI). Asitha Fernando has been named as his replacement in the T20I squad.
