The President today praised the efforts of the Sri Lankan delegation and officials at the Sri Lankan Embassy in the United States for their role in reducing the tariffs imposed by the U.S. on Sri Lanka.
He made these remarks while addressing Parliament.
During his address, the President specifically commended the roles played by Finance Ministry Secretary Harsha Sooriyapperuma, Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, and Ambassador Mahinda Samarasinghe.
