His Eminence the Cardinal and Catholic Bishops' Conference Meet with President Anura Kumara

(Colombo) His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the Archbishop of Colombo, and the Catholic Bishops' Conference met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (20) afternoon.

During the meeting, His Eminence the Cardinal briefed the President on the key issues discussed at the Catholic Bishops' Conference, which is held three times a year.

Ideas and proposals that emerged from the Catholic Church were also given attention during this discussion.

The President of the Sri Lanka Catholic Bishops' Conference, Bishop Harold Anthony Perera, and members of the conference were also present at the occasion. (NewsCenter)
