Bodies of woman & two girls recovered after drowning incident off Pamunugama coast

The bodies of a 35-year-old woman and two girls who went missing while bathing in the sea off the Epamulla coast in Pamunugama have been recovered, while the 13-year-old boy remains missing, police said.

A woman and three children were reported missing after being swept away by strong currents while bathing in the sea off the Epamulla coast in Pamunugama.

The missing persons were identified as a 35-year-old woman, two girls aged four and 12, and a 13-year-old boy.

Accordingly, the bodies of the 35-year-old woman, two girls aged four and 12 were recovered, while the 13-year-old boy remains missing.
