
Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya left Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport for Bhutan today (31) to attend the Global Conscious Food Systems Summit (GCFSS).
The Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in the inaugural plenary session of the summit held in Bhutan on September 1, where she will deliver the keynote address under the theme "Rising to the Moment: Igniting Consciousness to Address the Polycrisis."
During this visit, the Prime Minister is also expected to engage in discussions with international leaders and delegates to strengthen cooperation regarding sustainable food systems, food security, and community engagement.
