
Sri Lanka's Ambassador in Kathmandu has confirmed that an estimated 85 to 100 Sri Lankan nationals are currently in Nepal, including around 20 students who have recently arrived in the country.
There are also Sri Lankan nationals working with international organizations in Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Nepal Tourism Board has identified 384 travellers, including 291 foreign nationals and 93 Nepalese nationals, as being reported missing from areas affected by the Bhote Koshi River flash flood.
