Train services disrupted following derailment on Northern Railway Line

Train services on the Northern Railway Line have been disrupted following a train derailment.

The Department of Railways stated that a train travelling from Polgahawela to Mahawa derailed at Pothuhera Railway Station.

The Department further noted that, due to the obstruction caused by the derailment, all trains scheduled to operate beyond Pothuhera Railway Station will experience delays.
