CCIB questions Shiran Basik’s father over Rs. 30 million apartment

It is reported that the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) is currently questioning the father of Shiran Basik, a suspected major drug trafficker who was recently brought back to Sri Lanka from Dubai.

Investigations have revealed that Shiran Basik had purchased an apartment worth approximately Rs. 30 million at a luxury apartment complex in the Gampaha area, and that the property had been purchased in his father’s name.

Accordingly, Shiran Basik’s father had been instructed to appear before the CCIB today (11) to provide a statement regarding the property.
