President Pays Homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who traveled to Kandy for the annual Esala Perahera festival of the historic Sri Dalada Maligawa, visited the historic temple this afternoon (27) to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Meanwhile, the President also walked among the thousands of people who had gathered at the Dalada Maligawa for the Perahera festival and inquired about their well-being.

Governor of the Central Province, Specialist Dr. Harsha Suranga, was also present on this occasion.
