කැරොලයින් ජූරිට, චන්දිමාල් ජයසිංහගෙන් අනතුරු ඇඟවීමක් !

'Mrs. Sri Lanka' (Mrs. World Sri Lanka Organization) සංවිධානයේ ජාතික අධ්‍යක්ෂ චන්දිමාල් ජයසිංහ විසින්, හිටපු (2019) ශ්‍රී ලංකා විවාහක රූ රැජින වන කැරොලයින් ජූරි වෙත ලිපියක් යොමුකර තිබෙනවා.

ඒ, ඇය කළැයි කියන 'අපහාසාත්මක ප්‍රකාශයක්' ඉල්ලා අස්කර ගැනීමට හෝ නිවැරදි කරන ලෙස දන්වමින්.

එම ලිපියට අනුව 'Mrs. Sri Lanka' තරඟය තුළ දූෂණය, ඥාති සංග්‍රහය සහ විෂමාචාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කැරොලයින් ප්‍රසිද්ධ ප්‍රකාශයක් සිදුකර ඇති බවට 'Mrs. Sri Lanka' සංවිධානයේ අවධානය යොමුව ඇත.

ඒ අනුව සනාථ කළ හැකි සාක්ෂි නොමැතිව කරන ලද මෙම ප්‍රකාශ අසත්‍ය, අපහාසාත්මක සහ එම සංවිධානයේත් එහි නිලධාරීන්ගේ සහ සියලුම සහභාගිවන්නන්ගේ කීර්ති නාමයට හානිකර ලෙස බලපා ඇති බවයි අදාළ නිවේදනයෙන් අවධාරණය කර ඇත්තේ.

'Mrs. Sri Lanka' ලෙස කිරුළු දැරූවෙක් ලෙස, ඇය මිසිස් ශ්‍රී ලංකා සන්නාමයේ ගෞරවය සහ හොඳ නම ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට ගිවිසුම්ගතව සහ සදාචාරාත්මකව බැඳී සිටින බවත් එම නිවේදනයෙන් පෙන්වාදී තිබේ.

එනයින්, කැරොලයින්ගේ මෑත කාලීන අදහස් දැක්වීම් එකී ගිවිසුම්ගත ක්‍රියාවලිය බරපතල ලෙස උල්ලංඝනය කිරීමක් වන බවත් එමඟින් යළි හැරවිය නොහැකි තරමේ හානියක් 'Mrs. Sri Lanka' සංවිධානයට සිදුවිය හැකි බවත් සඳහන් කර ඇත.

ඒ අනුව, අදාළ ලිපිය මඟින් කැරොලයින්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා ඇත්තේ එම අපහාසාත්මක ප්‍රකාශ වහාම ඉල්ලා අස්කර ගන්නා ලෙසත් මෙම නිවේදනය ලැබුණු දින සිට දින හතරක් (4) ඇතුළත ඇයගේ පෙර ප්‍රකාශයන්ට සමාන ප්‍රසිද්ධියක් ලබාදෙමින් මහජන නිවැරදි කිරීමක් හෝ පැහැදිලි කිරීමක් නිකුත් කරන ලෙසයි.

කැරොලයින් ඊට අපොහොසත් වීමෙන්, ඇයට '2019 Mrs. Sri Lanka' පදවිය අහිමිව යනු ඇති.

එමෙන්ම සංවිධානයේ කීර්ති නාමය ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට සහ සිදුවූ හානි සඳහා වන්දි ලබා ගැනීමට සුදුසු නීතිමය ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ආරම්භ කිරීමට සිදුවනු ඇති බවත් සඳහන්.

Re: Notice to Withdraw or Correct the Defamatory Public Statement

Dear Mrs.Jurie,

It has come to the attention of the Mrs. Sri Lanka Organization that you have made public statements alleging corruption, nepotism, and misconduct within the Mrs. Sri Lanka pageant. These statements, made without substantiated evidence, are false, defamatory, and damaging to the reputation and integrity of the Organization, its officials, and all participants.

As a titleholder, you are contractually and ethically bound to uphold the dignity and good name of the Mrs. Sri Lanka brand. Your recent comments constitute a serious breach of these obligations and have the potential to cause irreparable harm to the Organization.

Accordingly, you are hereby formally requested to:

1. Immediately withdraw the said defamatory statements; and
2. Issue a public correction or clarification of equal visibility to your previous remarks, within four (4) days of receipt of this notice.

Failure to comply will leave the Mrs. Sri Lanka Organization with no alternative but to dethrone you from the title of Mrs. Sri Lanka 2019 and initiate appropriate legal proceedings to protect the Organization’s reputation and seek damages caused by your actions.

We trust that you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take immediate corrective action to avoid further consequences.
